With the beginning of the New Year, I thought it would be good to start a new series of posts to inspire you.
At the beginning of each week I’ll provide a ‘Thought Provoking’ quote, or insight from one of the many extraordinary people from our present and past.
Like many people, the New Year will undoubtedly bring its own difficulties and issues to your hopes and dreams. So, I thought I’d start with a quote from Aristotle. Although this insight doesn’t quite ‘roll off the tongue’, it’s definitely worth remembering.
“Excellence is an art, won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather, we have those things because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
So remember, no matter how big your problems might become, or how tempted you are to stop trying, if you continue to do what’s right every day, you WILL be excellent 🙂
