I always failed to reach my goals
Hi, and thanks for taking the time to find out a bit more about me and how small habits changed my life..
Years ago, I struggled with low self-esteem and had very little confidence.
That lack of confidence meant that every time I tried to reach a new goal, within a few days, I’d lose momentum and give up.
I decided that the processes that ‘experts’ were having success with, were never designed for someone like me.
For years, I tried every process and system I could find, to make changes. But, I couldn’t get anything to work!
And, guess what? I clearly wasn’t the only one! In fact, according to statistics from the Statistic Brain Research Institute, only 8% of people actually achieve their New Year resolutions.
So, I started looking into why.
All those processes I tried weren’t the problem. How I used them was.
Almost everything I read, kept banging on about “set big goals”, or “imagine your best life, then set your goals to reach them”, or “take massive action”, etc.
But, nobody was telling me that the mind doesn’t like big changes. So, the goals I was trying to achieve, were too big to reach in one go.
That was when I discovered mini habits, or Routine Choices. Simple things I could do every day, that put very little strain on my time and only required a small amount of willpower.
Because they’re simple, there’s no resistance. The cool thing, is even though they’re simple, they give you great momentum. Once you start getting that, doing more is inevitable.
Your routine choices determine whether your life becomes everything you want it to be, or continues to drift along the way it is now.
My goal is to help you make those life-altering changes.
The changes habits made to my life
I’ve used the immense power of simple habits to help not only myself, but many, many people attain, then surpass their goals, and live the lives they desire.
In my own life now, I launched and continue to have a major interest in two successful businesses, I have made presentations and provided live training events to rooms full of people, I was a senior lecturer at a college for seven years and then spent four years training CEO’s, Managing Directors, etc of multi-national companies.
And before I found this breakthrough with simple habits, I had no social life, no friends and an almost phobic reaction to speaking to someone I didn’t know!
Now, most of my time is spent helping people like you, make these discoveries for themselves.
By developing programs, training and information products (and of course the articles here), my greatest wish is to help you increase your awareness and build your understanding of the simple ways, that can make big changes to your life.
